A cutting tool of the type having a replaceable cutting insert 1 characterized in that the insert 1 is of concentric double frusto-conical shape 2, 3 and whereby its lower portion 3 is locatable in a corresponding bore 8 in an extending portion 7 of a tool holder body 6. A further bore 9 provided beneath the insert bore 8 facilitates the removal of the insert by a drift or punch.
