Abstract

1,094,005. Sheet folding apparatus. MIEHLEGOSS-DEXTER. Sept. 28, 1965 [April 3, 1965], No. 41171/65. Heading B6H. A folding pocket for a sheet buckle folding machine comprises a plurality of upper and lower pocket-forming elements 8, 9 adapted for movement towards and away from one another to define the width of the pocket and provided with guide elements 5, 6 for the sheets to be folded. The pocket-forming elements 8, 9 are constituted by metal strips attached with their ends to the respective guide elements 8, 9 and the loop formed adjacent the rear cross-bar 13 are engaged by tensioning pieces 11 which cooperate with tensioning screws 12. Looking in the direction A-B the elements 8 may be offset with respect to the elements 9 (Fig. 4, not shown), or may be arranged in spaced superposed position (Fig. 6, not shown).
