Abstract
109,347. Bliss, E. C. May 18, 1917. Rugs, travelling and like.-Rugs or covers for travellers are provided with two pockets so arranged relatively to the borders of the rugs that, their contents are readily accessible, and constructed and disposed relatively to each other as described below so that, when the rugs are evenly folded or rolled, the contents are well protected and not liable to mutual crushing. The two pockets A, B are situated near the upper border of the inside surface of the rug and contain inside pockets a, b<1>, b<2>, the pocket a being disposed in the upper half of the pocket A, and the pockets b<1>, b<2> in the lower half of the pocket B, so that when the rug is folded about the line Y-Y the bulge of the pocket a will not coincide with the bulges of the pockets b<1>, b<2>. After the rug is folded, it may be rolled and the contents of the pockets are then well protected. The pocket flaps are secured by stud fastenings.
