Abstract

1,092,353. Cartons. JOHN WADDINGTON Ltd. Oct. 25, 1965 [Sept. 12, 1964], No. 37397/64. Heading B8P. A tubular carton has hinged flaps 1a-4a connected to wall panels 1-4, the flaps being formed so that when certain of them are secured together and pushed inwardly, an article when inserted from one end of the carton is located in the carton. The article, for example an Easter egg, is supported in apertures 6 and the apertures formed by the curved edges of the flaps. In a modification, Figs. 5-11 (not shown), hinged support members (12) fold inwardly to locate one end of the contents and the flaps forming the base of the carton interlock without forming an aperture.
