Abstract
1,091,551. Bullets. IMPERIAL METAL INDUSTRIES (KYNOCH) Ltd. April 20, 1966 [April 26, 1965]. No. 17449/65. Heading F3A. A bullet is made from a mixture of 100 parts by weight of metal particles and a maximum of 1 part by weight of a lubricant consisting of an oil, fat, or wax, e.g. anhydrous lanolin, lithium grease soap, castor oil or paraffin wax. The lubricant may be limited to 0-5 parts and is preferably 0.2. The metal particles may consist of 85 to 100 parts of lead powder and respectively 15 to zero parts iron powder, or 90 to 100 parts lead flakes and 10 to zero parts iron powder. The mixture is extruded and several lengths moulded in a bullet press.
