Abstract
1,091,402. Tractor power lift mechanisms. MASSEY-FERGUSON (UNITED KINGDOM) Ltd. Aug. 25, 1964 [Aug. 27, 1963], No. 33799/63 Heading A1P In a tractor power lift mechanism the changes in pressure in the ram 15 due to changes in the draft or weight of an attached implement are used to operate the control valve 14 by means of a piston and cylinder assembly 23. The assembly 23 is slidably mounted on rails 42 and is positioned by means of a linkage connected to a hand lever 31. Ram 15 is hydraulically connected to cylinder 24 whereby pressure changes in the system move piston 25 which is directly connected to the control valve plunger 17. Lever 31 can also be used to raise or lower the implement by moving the cylinder 24 relatively to the piston 25 which is then moved by its biasing spring 38 to operate the control valve.
