Abstract

1,089,325. Brackets. J. M. D. DE NIET. July 6, 1966 [July 12, 1965], No. 29529/65. Heading A4B. A bracket 13 is releasably clamped to one of two inwardly directed, dovetail projections 12 integral with the limbs of a uniform channel section upright 11. The bracket 13 has a fixed, inner jaw 14 and carries an adjustable jaw 16 which is moved by screws 17 or by toggle links (41, 43 - Fig. 7). Two, side-by-side brackets 13 may be carried by a single upright 11. External recesses 21 accommodate a back panel 22. The bracket 13 may support a shelf (25, Fig. 5) edge carrying a clip on its underside for engagement with the bracket 13. The brackets may alternatively comprise hooks.
