1, 088, 822. Fuel injection pumps. SOCIETE INDUSTRIELLE GENERALE DE MECANIQUE APPLIQUEE S. I. G. M. A. Dec. 3, 1964 [Dec. 4, 1963], No.49234/64. Heading F1A The pump described in Specification 49233/64 is modified in that the bore in the fixed member surrounding the distributing valve 2 is provided at each end with an annular groove 41 for collecting fuel leakage. These grooves are connected through passages with the holes 23 and/or the annular groove 22. The invention is also stated to be applicable to pumps having radial cylinders provided in the distributing valve as described in Specification 986, 111. The pistons in this case are operated by a fixed cam. Reference has been directed by The Comptroller to Specification 947, 158.
