Abstract

A normally freestanding fan heater may be hung on a wall by its base to direct drying air downwardly through hanging clothes. As illustrated, the base of the heater comprises a rectangular frame 6. One of the longer sides 6b of the frame may be hung on hooks 12 of a wall plate 9 so that rods 8 detachably secured to the base are horizontal and below the heater outlet. Clothes may then be hung on the rods and a surrounding curtain attached to the casing 1 of the heater. When not in use the heater may be hung by the frame member 6a from the hooks 12 with the free ends of the rods 8 against the wall 11. In another embodiment, Figs. 7-10 (not shown), the base comprises a pair of S-shaped strips attached to the heater casing, which strips may be hung on to a horizontal bar attached to the wall to give the required heater disposition. A clothes hanging grid is detachably secured between the strips and the heater casing.
