In an oil mist lubricator as described in Specification 905,342, a float valve for refilling the liquid lubricant container 10 comprises a hollow open float 29 into which the oil can flow from the container through holes 31 to sink the float and close the oil inlet valve 27. The oil is extracted from the interior of the float through a jet pipe 16 until the float becomes buoyant again and allows the inlet valve to open. The buoyancy is adjusted by weights 32. The lubricator includes a valve 6 connected to a damping disc 15 in the float.
