Race games, mechanical; table games.-A board capable of being tilted by handles 12 and mounted on a ball support 7 is provided with rails 2 on which runs a wheeled horse 4. At certain points, fences 14 are placed on the board and the horse can only pass these by a tilting movement on the axis of the wheels 3. If the tilt is excessive, the horse overbalances and the rider 23 falls off. The horse normally runs with the rear wheel 24 on the board, but this tilts up when passing the fences. Raised pieces 16, 18 are placed near the fences to control the extent of the tilt, and a weight 41 may be placed on the horse's tail to render the figure more stable. A star wheel 30 actuated by a projection 33 on one of the wheels registers the laps traversed and a bell is rung at the completion of a certain number of laps. A flag 32 turns with" the wheel 30. The fences are connected to the board by dowel pins, and the rider is similarly fitted to the horse. In playing the game, each player may be provided with a board, or the game may consist of a time competition with the same board. When not in use the board is fixed to its support by a pin 11.
