Abstract
1,083,016. Washing machines. N. V. PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Jan. 13, 1966 [Jan. 15, 1965], No. 1657/66. Heading D1A. A washing and spin-drying machine, in which the washing drum is rotatable at high speed for spin drying, rests on at least three wheels 1, 2, 3, the angle between two of the wheels 2, 3 being between 1 and 10 so that movement of the machine during spin drying is reduced. Further, at least one of the wheels may be such that the distance from its axis to its running surface is not constant, e.g. the wheel may be elliptical.
