Abstract
Aluminium metal or alloy foil e.g. 0.009-0.1 mm thick is heat-treated e.g. betwee 250 and 450 DEG C., in tightly coiled form by connecting the ends of the coil of foil up to a voltage source, preferably less than 50 volts, for supplying the heating current.
