Abstract
1,081,883. Bricklayers guides. G. T. BLAKE. May 6, 1966 [June 4, 1965], No. 23995/65. Heading E1S. A vertical bar 1 adapted to support guide lines for building walls is secured to a base 2 by a U-shaped member 5 the distance between the limbs 4, 6 of which, is adjustable by a screw, 14 in order to adjust the bar to vertical position. The base is secured to a wall by a bolt 9 which is passed through a gap between bricks from which mortar has been raked out and pointed screws 13 which engage the brick work. Blocks carrying bricklayers lines are slidable on the bar.
