Abstract

The invention comprises 1,1-dimethyl-3-(21,41 - dimethylphenyl) - 2 - thiourea and 1,1 - dimethyl - 3 - (21,31 - dimethylphenyl) - 2-thiourea. The former compound is prepared by reacting 2,4-dimethylphenyl isothiocyanate with dimethylamine, and the latter thiourea is prepared by reacting dimethylamine, carbon disulphide and 2,3-dimethylaniline.
