Abstract
An alloy has the following percentage composition:- .Al.2.5-7.5 .Sn.0-8 .Zr.2-7 .Mo.0.5-6 .C.0.05-0.4 .Si.0.1-1 .Ti.the remainder It may be water quenched or slow cooled from 900 DEG C. and aged for 24 hours at 500 DEG C.
