Abstract

In making a pneumatic tyre (see Division B7) a rubber compound containing a water absorbing substance is used to coat some or all of the tyre cords and/or is incorporated in the rubber of the tread, shoulder and/or side-wall portions of the tyre. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 890,262.
