Abstract
1,076,496. Electric immersion heaters. SANTON Ltd. Dec. 16, 1964 [Sept. 17, 1963], No. 36498/63. Heading H5H. An electric immersion heater unit comprises sheathed heating elements 5, 6 of unequal length and individually controlled by two thermostats which are mounted in a housing 7 and include thermally sensitive strips 11, 12 separately adjustable by control screws 13, 14 accessible externally of the housing 7. A change-over switch 15, 16 is provided to select one or other of the elements 5, 6, whose upper ends 10 terminate in cavities which, together with these ends, are external of the housing 7, Fig. 2 (not shown). The lower part of the housing 7 forms a chamber 9 for the reception of the strips 11, 12.
