Abstract
1,074,895. Laminates. ELTRO G.m.b.H. Aug. 26, 1957 [Aug. 31, 1956], No. 26924/57. Heading B5N. [Also in Division H4] A radar camouflage netting consists of a supporting metal gauze which carries a number of mutually adhering layers of rubber-like substances which are pliable to permit storing in rolls and which may be perforated to reduce weight. The netting may be coloured to effect camouflaging in both the visible and infra-red ranges. The layers may incorporate fillers in the form of powders, such as metals, ferromagnetic materials, oxides of zinc or beryllium, or titanates, carbonates, silicates, sulphates or phosphates. The layers may be formed of oppanol B, and material having the Registered Trade Marks, " Igelit ", " Buna ", " Perbunan ", " Dellathol ". The perforation may be round, square or triangular and of size between a fifth and a tenth of the beam wavelength of the radiation.
