A piston end ring unit of elastomerie material comprises a body (1) and a piston ring formed by a collar (3) on a tubular extension (2) of the body. A piston rod (6) may be formed integral with the body (1). In use, the ring (3) is deformed to provide a sealing edge (8) in contact with the cylinder bore. An extension (2) and ring (3) may be provided on each end of the body.
