A resilient polyethylene reinforcement spacer has hollow legs 1a and 1b joined by a bridging piece 2, the tops of the legs being formed with ridges 7 on the interior, and curved upper portions 4. The cavity 5 formed between the upper portions 4 decreases in width towards the bridging piece 2.
