1,68,376. Photocopying apparatus. COMPAGNIE FRANCAISE THOMSON HOUSTONHOTCHKISS BRANDT. Aug. 21, 1964 [Aug.21, 1963 No.34379/64. Heading G2A. A precision photographic apparatus in which a transparency 3 (lit from behind) or a drawing (lit by reflected light, not shown) fixed in a pneumatic frame is reproduced, on a reduced scale, on a photographic plate 6 held in position by a bar 7, an objective lens 9 in a holder 8 being adjustably mounted on an apertured steel tray 5 so that successive images of the transparency may be reproduced side-by-side and/or in superposition. Parts of the transparency may be reproduced in turn, masking devices being used to mask off the areas not to be reproduced. Filtered air under pressure is injected into the aperture 5' in the tray 5, and an enclosure having dust free air circulating therein may be provided round the tray 5.
