[Also in Division E2] A motor vehicle seat has a back frame 2 pivoted to a base frame 1 at 3. A toothed member 13 is provided on back frame 2 to co-operate with a toothed member 14 which is pivoted at 16 to base frame 1. Also pivoted on base frame 1 is a locking lever 17 provided with an abutment surface 18 which is urged by a spring 22 into engagement with a curved edge 18a of the toothed member 14 to retain the teeth 14a on member 14 in locking engagement with the teeth 13a, on member 13.
