Abstract

A composition comprises a mixture of isobutanol and ethylene glycol in which the ratio of isobutanol to ethylene glycol by volume is not more than 1:1. A corrosion inhibitor such as (1) sodium borate, (2) sodium benzoate, sodium nitrite and sodium borate, or (3) sodium benzoate and sodium nitrite may be added.
