Abstract

1,060,924. Laminates. G. LœTZE. March 2, 1965 [March 12, 1964], No. 8954/65. Heading B5N. [Also in Division E1] A wall panel (see Division E1) comprises a frame 12 having an impervious metal (e.g. aluminium) outer casing 10, a pervious inner facing panel 14, and a pervious foamed plastics filling 13 incorporating vertical passages 15a through which air can circulate to remove water vapour penetrating from a room 19. The passages 15a may be provided by cardboard tubes embedded in the plastics 13 while it is foamed in situ, or (Fig. 1b not shown) by channels formed in the face of a plastics block inserted in the casing 10. Alternatively the channels may be provided by corrugating the casing 10 and covering the troughs thereof with a pervious sheet before moulding the foamed plastics.
