Abstract
1,049,983. Stop motions. W. REINERS. July 14, 1965 [July 15, 1964], No. 29880/65. Heading D1D. [Also in Division G1] A travelling yarn F (Fig. 1) bears against sensing members 2, 3 causing them to oscillate, thereby producing an output voltage from an attached piezo-crystal wafer 5, which drops to zero when the yarn breaks, allowing a brake to be applied to appropriate machinery.
