Abstract
1,049,272. Bathing pools. DRIX PRODUCTS Ltd. Feb. 11, 1965, No. 6008/65. Heading A4N. A collapsible bathing pool includes a length of wire mesh 12, a strip 14 of semirigid sheet material and a polythene or polyvinyl chloride liner 10. The wire mesh is formed into a circular enclosure and secured to the ground by pegs 22, while the overlapping ends 24, 26 are wired together. The liner 10 and strip 14, which protects the liner from abrasion, are nested within the enclosure to form the bath which is completed by placing a split tubular hand rail around the upper rim. A layer of green polythene may be interposed between strip 14 and mesh 12. The liner 10 may be in the form of a single sheet having pleats 11 or a circular disc may be provided with a circumferentially welded up-standing wall portion.
