Winding and setting apparatus.-The winding and setting arbor 1 is parallel to the arbors of the movement and turns and slides in a collar 3 and cock 4. A sleeve G pinned upon it carries two pinions 7, 8, the former of which is normally in gear with the winding-wheel 16 on the barrel arbor through an idle wheel 12. When the arbor is drawn out against a spring 10, the other pinion comes into gear with an idle train 11 running to the arbor of the minute-hand.
