Abstract

1,044,261. Delivering sheets. M. GENNERICH, and A. WINDMOLLER, [trading as WINDMOLLER & MOLSCHER]. Jan. 14. 1964 [Feb. 2, 1963], No. 1548/64. Heading B6H. Apparatus in which paper tube portions are stacked on a delivery table inclined downwardly from the outlet end of the tube forming device, is characterized in that the table is pivotable through its angle of inclination into a horizontal plane and the two halves which together form the table are movable apart to allow the stack of paper tube portions to drop on to a conveyer. Tube-pieces 39 are fed to an inclined table 7 comprising two halves 14, 15, pivotally mounted in a frame 13 at 21-24. The frame is pivoted at 29, 30 to the machine frame 31. An arm 36 fixed to the pivot-pin 30, is pivotally connected to the piston 35 of a pneumatic cylinder 38. The latter is attached to the machine frame at 33. When a predetermined number of tube-pieces have been stacked on the table the cylinder 38 is operated to move the piston to the right as seen in Fig. 3 and pivot the table through its angle of inclination into a horizontal position. A spring-loaded latch 27 is withdrawn by electromagnetic means to release the table halves and allow the stack to drop on to an endless conveyer. The table halves are returned to their latched position by pneumatic means 41, 42. Adjustable side and end guides 17-19 maintain the stack in position on the table when the latter is in its inclined position. In a modification, the table halves are slidably mounted in the frame 13.
