Abstract
1,044,021. Overflow fittings for baths, &c. G. TURNER. June 8, 1964 [March 6, 1963], No. 8893/63. Heading A4N. In order to allow the level of water in a bath, basin or sink to rise above that of the overflow outlet, an upward extension 1 is provided which may be secured to the side of the vessel by a suction groove (Fig. 2, not shown). Alternatively, the extension may be secured mechanically. The water inlet grating may be hinged or detachable to faciltate cleaning. A plug chain anchoring lug 6 is provided.
