Abstract

1,042,428. Cleaning windows; mops. J. HOLMAR. July 28, 1965 [July 28, 1964], No 30054/64. Heading A4F. A device for cleaning windows comprises strips D of wash leather detachably anchored to a head B. Each strip D is slit longitudinally for the greater part of its length into two or more tongues, and the uncut ends of a number of strips D are received in holes in the base plate A of the head B, to be retained therein either by friction, stitching, or wire retaining members. The device may be provided with a handle M so as to constitute a mop, and may also comprise a motor for rotating the cleaning head, or a hose for supplying water thereto.
