Abstract
1,039,500. Transformers. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION. June 18, 1965 [July 1, 1964], No. 25823/65. Heading H1T. Substantial electric field coupling between the primary 10 and the bifilar secondaries 16, 18 of a wide-band transformer is prevented by a neutralizing winding 36 coextensive with the primary and wound so that voltages at adjacent points on the two windings are equal and of opposite sign. The core may be a ferrite toroid. Details of an exemplary transformer are given.
