Abstract

1,039,182. Syringes. F. M. C. CORPORATION. Jan. 16, 1964 [Jan. 16, 1963], No. 1894/64. Heading F1R. Means for dispensing the contents 14 of a container 10 through a valve 30 comprises a resilient sealed bag 18 containing a foam body 20, which presses the adjacent portion of the bag 18 against the container wall, and gas under pressure generated by means 48. The means 48 may comprise hydrogen peroxide with a catalyst for decomposing the hydrogen peroxide at a suitable rate. Other suitable means 48 are substances which react with acid to produce CO 2 , lithium hydride and water and solid CO 2 .
