Abstract

1,038,831. Endless conveyers. ELLIOTT BROTHERS (LONDON) Ltd. Jan. 17, 1964 [Jan. 29, 1963], No. 3566/63. Heading B8A. An endless conveyer comprises foldable buckets 1 with trapezoidal side walls 2A, 2B hinged along their bottom edges 3 and foldable side walls 4A, 4B each made of a pair of triangular panels. The side walls 4A, 4B preferably fold inwardly and the end walls 2A, 2B may be spring biased to a collapsed position. Buckets 1A to 1Y are connected between pairs of chains 6, 7 (one chain 6 and one chain 7 only shown) so arranged that the buckets are opened to receive material or articles from a feed hopper 8 with a vertical centrally gapped guide wall 9. The chains 6, 7 discharge the buckets by tilting as at 1M and fold the buckets 1L, K . . .E, D on return to the feed hopper 8.
