Abstract
1,034,849. Picture mounts. W. H. B. SIMON. Dec. 11, 1963 [Sept. 23, 1963], No. 37343/63. Heading A4X. A picture mount comprises a rectangular lining sheet of paper or board 5 and a similar transparent flexible sheet 2 of material such as cellulose acetate or polyvinyl chloride provided on one face 3 with a coating of pressure sensitive adhesive covered by a peel-off backing. A frame 6 pre-printed or stuck on to sheet 2 may be provided. To mount the picture it is laid between sheets 5 and 2, the protective backing removed from sheet 2 and the sheets pressed together. A heat sensitive adhesive may be used and suspension means may be attached to the sheet 5.
