Abstract
103,006. Miner, H. C., and Irlam, H. A. Jan. 14, 1916. Resins.-Xanthorrhoea resins are obtained in a purified and granular or pulverulent condition by dissolving them in an alkaline solution, such as caustic soda or potash or ammonia solution, filtering the solution, and precipitating the dissolved resin by addition of an acid, for example sulphuric, hydrochloric, or oxalic acid, or an acid salt, for example nitre-cake.
