Abstract

In a two for one twist spindle a series of magnets 8 (Figs. 1 and 2, not shown) is arranged on the bobbin support 4 with their poles disposed along the outer surface of the support and a second series of magnets 9 each of which offers a magnet 8, is mounted on a ring 7 outside, but concentric with the bobbin support the orientation of the magnets in each group being opposite. The magnets may be horse-shoe type. The storage disc 13 which is of synthetic resin, stainless steel or other non-magnetic substance, extends upwardly between the series of magnets. The bobbin 16 has a cover 15 mounted on the support 4.
