Abstract

1,025,972. Moulding foamed resins. TECHNIFOAM CORPORATION. Dec. 4, 1962 [Dec. 5, 1961], No. 45782/62. Heading B5A. Polyurethane foam is moulded by depositing it in mould cavities in an endless belt 211 of e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene. The material may be allowed to foam against gentle pressure exerted by an endless belt 212. In a modification (Fig. 1, not shown) the shapes may be formed by a printing roller and deposited on to a plain belt. The foamed shapes may be heated by an infra-red lamp.
