Abstract

1,025,480. Optical apparatus for examining curved surfaces. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Jan. 26,1965 [Jan. 6,1964], No. 540/64. Addition to 926, 506. Heading G2J. Optical apparatus for examining a curved surface, such as that of a micro-wave aerial, is provided with two pentaprisms as in the parent Specification but instead of them being interchangeable on the same lead screw, a pair of parallel lead screws are provided and beams of light from a selected point on the surface are reflected through preselected angles along parallel reference lines to a pair of telescopes. One of the pentaprisms reflects the incident beam through an acute angle such as 70 degrees and the other either reflects through a right angle of some acute angle different from that of the first pentaprism.
