Abstract

Treated water runs out of the bottom by overflow 8 while chemicals for the treatment are added at 7 to a portion of the liquid which is circulated from pipe 4, pump 1 to injector 2.ALSO:Chemical reactions in the liquid phase at low concentration are conducted in a continuously circulating liquid to which reactants are added outside the body of liquid in the reaction vessel and the mixture is then tangentially injected into the reactor to produce a rotation of the body of liquid.
