[Also in Division F1] A rocket motor assembly comprises a combustion chamber radially disposed about an axis, the combustion chamber being substantially flat and having a radially outwardly directed combustion gas outlet, a nozzle or deflector extending radially outwardly and rearwardly from the chamber for guiding combustion gases in an approximately axially rearward direction. The combustion chamber may be divided into a series of segments and for the purpose of thrust directional control the propellant supply to the segments may be independently throttled.
