Abstract

1,023,738. Springboards. C. W. BUDDO Oct. 22, 1964 [Nov. 4, 1963], No. 43213/64. Heading A6M. A springboard 10 is pivotally mounted at 13 at one end and is supported at the other end by a U- shaped torsion bar 27 having splayed arms 38 which when weight is applied to the said other end of the board torsion is applied to the legs 31 of the torsion bar. The entire springboard may be supported on a tubular frame 14 or may be semipermanently secured to a foundation as shown in Fig. 11.
