A mast comprises major and minor parts of fibre-glass-reinforced synthetic resin mouldings of full mast length, the major part having a concavo-convex cross-section, and the minor part bridging the gap between the edges of the major part and being bonded thereto. The minor part is also of concavo-convex crosssection, is oriented similarly to the major part, being shallower than the latter so that a space is formed between the parts.
