Abstract

1,020,778. Bottle closure. F. FRANCIS & SONS (HOLDINGS) Ltd. Dec. 17, 1964 [Sept. 21, 1963], No. 37226/63. Heading B8T. A two-part closure of plastics material comprises a cap 10 with a flange 14 to snap behind a bottle bead, and an inner more resilient part comprising an annular portion to engage the bottle rim and a plug portion 22 to fit into the bottle mouth. The cap may include an annular sealing bead 16, and the inner part may include annular ribs 23, 27 and 28. The cap top may be annular.
