Abstract

1,018,957. Pressure gauges. BRITISH OXYGEN CO. Ltd. Oct. 29, 1963 [Oct. 29, 1962], No. 40816/62. Heading G1L. [Also in Division F2] A pressure reducing valve is combined with a device indicating the pressure on the H.P. side of the valve. The valve member 5, Fig. (not shown), seats on the H.P. side of seat 3 between inlet 1 and outlet chamber 2 and has a neck 7 passing through the seat and connected to a diaphragm 8 responsive to outlet pressure. A passage 20 in the valve member communicates the inlet pressure to a bore 21 in a member movable with the diaphragm. A spring loaded plunger 25 sealingly engaged in this bore extends through an opening in a cap 15 so that the inlet pressure is indicated by the amount that the plunger projects.
