Shelves 6 are supported by projections 7 fitting between frame uprights 1, 2 and resting on bridge members 5, which are removably inserted in slots 4 in the facing sides of the uprights 1, 2. The bridge members 5 are formed of angle-section metal and the shelves 6 may have strips 8 on their undersurfaces to form stops to prevent the displacement of the bridge members 5.
