Abstract

1,015,749. Boxes. R. DENIS. Dec. 6, 1963 [Dec. 12, 1962], No. 48231/63. Heading B8P. [Also in Division A4] A preferably transparent tube 1 for buttons 3 or like objects is closed at one end by a closure 4 and at the other end by a plug 2 slidable within the tube. The closure has a hole therein defined by flexible fingers which engage the stem of a display button 5. Upon removal of a button or buttons from the tube the plug 2 is pushed towards the closure 4 thus to securely hold the buttons thereagainst. The closure may include a pad 10 and washers may be placed between adjacent buttons 3. The closure could include elements for indicating the number of buttons remaining in the tube, particularly where the material of the tube is opaque. The closure and plug may be moulded in a single mould which can be modified by inserting or removing packing-pieces. When the packing-pieces are removed a closure, including a projecting edge 9 will be formed. Tubes containing different types of buttons may be placed in a display rack.
