Abstract
1,011,870. Expanding-wheel gearing. U. SCHAUFLER. May 22, 1962 [May 26, 1961; May 4, 1962], No. 19585/62 Heading F2D. A V-belt gear comprises a driving pulley having a fixed flange 5 and an axially slidable flange 4 which is shifted axially by means of a bearing 7 acted on by a cam member 8 which engages a cam surface on a stationary member 10 and is rotated by a worm-wheel 9 fast therewith, the worm-wheel being rotated by a manually driven worm 11. The driven pulley has a fixed flange 15 and an axially slidable flange 14 biased by a spring 18.
