Abstract

1,011,540. Supporting cables. INTERNATIONAL COMPUTERS & TABULATORS Ltd. April 13, 1962 [June 22, 1961], No. 22622/61. Heading H2C. [Also in Division H1] A tape 2 of resilient material has at least one edge formed with an aperture 12, Fig. 3 (or projection 15, Fig. 5) adapted to mate with part of the surface of a bar or insulated conductor. The tape 2 has one or more further apertures 5 or 16 which engage separate supporting means in the form of posts or strip-like members. The tapes 2, Fig. 8, may have apertures along each edge to engage tapes 17, 18, incorporating conductors, or they may have projections along each edge, Fig. 10, and apertures engaged by supporting posts 7, in which case the projections mate with apertures 14 in the insulation of conductors 1 so as to support them in a rectangular array. Figs. 1, 2, 6, 7 and 9 (not shown) show other tapes incorporating conductors.
