In a converting circuit in which groups of rectifiers B200, which may be bridge circuits, are connected in series on their D.C. sides and supplied from separate secondary windings of two or more transformers whose primary windings are in parallel, an earth connection is made between two rectifiers fed from separate secondaries of the same transformer.
